Nearly all of us would love to find 100% pure skincare. After many years of artificial everything, we’ve noticed that natural is almost always better. Holistic skincare is our goal these days.
It’s a great goal. We do need to be realistic about it, though.
if by 100% pure, you mean that no processing of any ingredient is allowed, there is no 100% pure skincare product.
If by holistic skincare you mean that ingredients must be exactly as they are found in nature, whole and complete, then there is no such thing as holistic skincare.
The simple truth: some type of careful processing, as natural and holistic as possible, must take place before even the finest skincare ingredients can be used in a skincare product.
Intelligent processing, done with a respect for the power of the natural plants, makes herbal supplements more effective than the plants they come from. Often only an extract (the active ingredients) of the plant is used.

Some years ago, I met a young Japanese woman in New York City, on a shuttle to Kennedy Airport. She was flying back to Tokyo. She told me she worked for one of the giant international advertising firms and she’d come to New York to receive one of the company’s major annual awards. It was a little hard to believe. She was clearly intelligent, but very young.
I was bold enough to ask her age.
Amused, she said, “Guess.”
“You look about 18,” I said.
She laughed. “Twice that. Two months ago, I was 36.”
I was amazed. I said, “If you ever want to advertise the secrets of Japanese skincare, you could be your own model.”
She laughed again, told me she wasn’t sure why she looked so young, and the conversation turned to her award-winning ad campaign.

We have lots of natural topical creams for dry skin to choose from. Most of the hundreds of creams for getting rid of dry skin on the market seem to claim at least one ingredient that is “natural!” and supposed to work wonders.
Our goal is simple: find effective creams for dry skin that are good values.
Actually doing that can be frustrating, though. Most of us have wasted a lot of money trying one new miracle product after another that didn’t live up to its claims.
We can have bothersome dry skin anywhere on the body: hands, legs, and most often, and most annoying, our faces. Then there’s combination skin, which also seems most common on our faces: dry areas over much of it, oily patches in embarrassing locations.
Creams for getting rid of dry skin anywhere on the body must contain effective hydrating ingredients.
Some of those effective ingredients include avocado and macademia oils, and Manuka honey, the natural product of bees feeding on nectar from the New Zealand Manuka bush, also called the tea tree. These ingredients can penetrate deeply into the layers of our skin and produce a genuine, lasting hydration.

Dry skin beneath the eyes is one of the most common skin care problems.
Most of us have tried remedies for this problem, often for years, and the lack of effectiveness of products for dry skin around the eyes causes a lot of stress and anxiety — with pretty good reason.
For one thing, the dry skin often leads to dark circles around the eyes. For another, we worry that bags and wrinkles are bound to come next. After a certain age, the bags and wrinkles usually become a fact — and many products, including many very expensive ones, aren’t much help.
So what can we do?
Of course you must follow the basic rules of good health. To look and feel youthful, you need to eat natural, healthy food, drink plenty of water and get regular exercise. Try to ignore those basic facts of taking care of your health, and any treatment for dry skin beneath the eyes has a lot of strikes to overcome.

Dry skin relief lotion is always in demand. For some reason, severe dry skin seems to be a bigger problem than ever.
Luckily, the research behind dry skin lotion seems to be improving, too. An ideal dry skin lotion does one more thing besides protecting your skin, allowing the skin to hydrate itself from within. The lotion should treat the underlying cause of dry skin, as well. A modern blend of vitamins, plant oils and natural enzymes can provide relief for even severely dried and cracked skin.
Look for all-natural ingredients, organic if possible. Here are some to look for on the label.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant often used in dry skin relief lotion. It helps to reduce signs of aging — fine lines and wrinkles. Another important natural antioxidant is coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10. Many products contain CoQ10; the most effective use the naturally derived nano-lipid form, which can penetrate the surface of skin for greater effectiveness.

Midlife, for most women, means having to face the painful reality that life will be a downhill slope from there. The focal point of life for most women is at age 39 (yet most women consider middle age to occur only at 40). It is often at this stage that women experience menopausal symptoms and start gaining layers of fat on their bodies. These are the reasons why women have different nutritional needs during these years.
Fitness for Aging Women
For women who are starting to age, the strongest influence on body fat distribution is still genetics. Yet there are many ways to counter obesity or rapid weight gain during the process of aging. Here are some great ways:
? Women, at this stage, should be encouraged to maintain (if not add more) physical activities. Arthritis should not be a deterring factor to perform any kind of chores or sports activities. It is also preferable that an aging woman would have at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity each day. Walking is a good way to spend these 30 minutes and so is aerobic exercise. Aerobics burn calories and causes fat loss (plus it is not as strenuous as other types of workouts).

What do you notice when you buy any fitness tool or exercise machine? Aren’t there mandatory guidelines on how to properly utilize the machine? If people know the benefits of saunas, there would never be a single human being on earth who would still purchase these exercise tools.
Sauna Melts Body Fat
If you are considering to immediately jump into the nearest sauna, halt. There are a few things that you must know before you can actually go there and melt your body fat away. Going to the sauna would require that you consult the advice of a professional fitness trainer. If you prefer not to talk to anyone regarding your new fitness plan, then you can go online and make a thorough research of sauna and its benefits. It all boils down to one thing-you must set up a workout regimen that works for you as you also undergo sauna sessions.
Sauna session means having to endure heat that is several notches higher than your regular body temperature (or your room’s heated atmosphere at that!). Saunas could be heated to as much as 170 degrees and this could be really hot for some people.

Man will age with time-this is an inevitable part of life. Yet many still hope that using creams on their faces or ingesting the right kinds of food would turn back time (at least for a few years!). There are many foods which promote longevity and healthy aging. There is no magic involved and you would be surprised that most of these foods are readily available at the local supermarket.
Olive Oil
This oil has been around for centuries as the Greeks in Crete have consumed this particular oil for centuries. There have been hundreds of studies that would confirm that olive oil has many health benefits. People who use olive oil in cooking or making dishes have lower rates of heart disease as compared to people who consume a different kind of oil. Olive oil is specifically rich in mono-saturated fats and polyphenols. These protect the human body from heart illnesses and other heart-related problems.

The anti aging skin care product industry is huge. Manufacturers know that many people will spend just about any amount of money to make themselves look younger and better. Hundreds of millions of dollars are spent on these products every year.
There are three problems. Most of them don’t work. Some may even be harmful. And a high price tag is no guarantee of high quality.
Slick marketing, not quality, is often the reason that a skin care product succeeds in the marketplace. That’s how an unscrupulous marketer takes advantage of the natural desire to look younger.
On the other hand, there are also some great products available. This article will give you some tips on how to choose a good skin care treatment.
To start, some ingredients are a dead giveaway to stay away from a product.
Avoid fragrances in skin care cream.

Isn’t it strange? When we were children, we wanted to grow older as fast as possible because we wanted to have and enjoy all the good things that only grownups were allowed to! When we reached the adult age, we missed our childhood because of all the responsibilities that came with growing up. And when we grow old, we miss both!
So, how do you ensure that you age gracefully with fewer burdens to yourself or others? Allow me to list a few things that will help you in this endeavor:
1. First of all, remember that aging is all in the mind. If you think you’ve grown old, you most certainly have. But if you remain young at heart, you’ll age more slowly and gracefully.
2. Try to maintain a routine in your life. This includes waking up early in the morning, going to bed early, taking a short nap in the afternoon, eating the right food at the right time, etc.
3. Exercise at least 3 times a week. If you can’t do pushups, do some light aerobic exercise. Take a walk for at least 45 minutes a day, preferably in the morning.
